I recently started paddle boarding and I noticed that windy conditions make balancing much harder than I expected.

Do you have any advice for beginners when the water gets choppy or windy?

I usually practice on calm lakes, but last weekend the weather changed quickly and it became difficult to control direction.

Also wondering if board size makes a big difference for stability.

Hi, I don't think you will get an answer to your question here. Most people on this forum are motorboaters and a few sailors. I wonder, maybe there is a specific forum for this, perhaps try asking the question on a surfing forum. Good luck!
